AI NHL picks

Are AI NHL picks worth following?

They can be, if the record is public. The GetCloseline.io model prices every NHL game's moneyline, puck line and total and sends the ones where its probability beats the price. Hockey is low-scoring and high-variance, so single games are close to coin flips and only a long record means anything.

As of October 30, 2026, GetCloseline.io's NHL picks on the public record are 41-22-1, a 65.1% win rate over 63 graded picks. This season (games since September 1, 2026): 41-22-1, a 65.1% win rate.

What the model does for the NHL

The model prices each game from team strength, recent form, rest and travel, and home ice, then compares its probability with the vig-free market price. It covers the moneyline, the puck line (the NHL spread, usually 1.5 goals) and the total, plus player props where books post them. Starting goaltenders matter more in hockey than any single player in most sports, and late goalie news is one of the things the Pick Critic review step checks before a pick goes out.

Because goals are scarce, a hockey game can turn on one bounce. That makes the NHL a market where favorites lose often and where a win rate swings a lot over a few weeks. The model is built to make many small, disciplined calls rather than a few big ones, and the record is the only fair way to judge it.

Hockey results are noisy. A few weeks of NHL picks can look much better or worse than the model really is, so give the sample time. Every pick counted here was sent to members, with its send time logged next to the game's start time, and graded from the official final score; picks the model made but never sent do not count. The full log, with send times, is on the pick log.

Questions

Does GetCloseline.io have a verified NHL record?

Yes. Every NHL pick sent to members is timestamped when it is sent and graded automatically from the official final score, losses included. The record is at https://www.getcloseline.io/track-record and the pick-by-pick log at https://www.getcloseline.io/record.

Do AI NHL picks win every time?

No. No model wins every bet, and NHL results carry real variance. A model's value shows up, if at all, over a large number of picks, which is why the record is public.
